BookTube-a-Thon 2016 / Day 7

Hey guys,

We’ve reached the end! That absolutely flew by, am I right? I have more exciting news, I finished The Crown today, which I think is a nice finish to the week.

We went out for lunch today which I enjoyed immensely, even though the food wasn’t great. Overall this year’s BookTube-a-Thon was a complete fail but I still enjoyed attempting to take part.

Todays challenge was just to read seven books which I obviously have failed, but I’m ok with that. How did you do? Let me know in the comments. And that’s a rap!

BookTube-a-Thon 2016 / Day 6

Hey guys,

Wow, we’re practically done, not that I really tried that hard and I’m sorry if that annoys you but it is my life.

However, I have some exciting news, I finished an entire book today. I took the challenge of reading a book by your favourite author even though it wasn't right and read Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. I loved it and am very excited to review it for you guys.

We went for a walk around the Barrage today and we saw the Great Britain teams training for some competition, possibly the Olympics.

The actual challenge for today was to read and watch a book to movie adaptation, I really liked this challenge and I had chosen Percy Jackson but I don't actually own the film. I kind of disregarded the challenges days ago. I hope you guys have reached your BookTube-a-Thon goals tell me about them in the comments.

BookTube-a-Thon 2016 / Day 5

Hey guys,

It’s almost the end and I can already tell this year is another fail, darn reading slumps. I’m enjoying my time in Wales. We went to the beach today which was really fun. For England the sea was surprisingly warm, the river was not.

The challenge for today was to read a book that's older than you for this I chose The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky sorry today’s post is quite short but I don’t really have much to say honestly

BookTube-a-Thon 2016 / Day 4

Hey Guys,

It’s already Thursday, that’s insane. This BookTube-a-Thon has flown by. I’ve realized that I’m not all that invested in it this year, which is a shame because I would like to win but I don’t seem to have the time.

I read a bit more of The Crown today, but not enough to count for anything. I hope your reading is going slightly better. I am quite enjoying the Crown but I’m not really into it.

Today’s challenge was to read a book by one of my favourite authors The Crown doesn’t really apply but I had originally chosen Hopeless by Colleen Hoover.

BookTube-a-Thon 2016 / Day 3

Hey guys,

I know I literally just stopped uploading on day 2, but my lap top was packed away and then when I arrived in Wales the internet was down and I literally didn’t have anopportunity to upload until now so sorry for the spam but I assumed you’d still want to know how I was doing for the 5 days I was absent.

Today I didn’t really read anything, as per usual but I did finish Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell which I started on Monday in the orthodontist. Today’s challenge was too read a book you discovered through BookTube which is quite fitting, for this I chose Anna and the French Kiss.

 I’ll keep trying but I make no promises

BookTube-a-Thon 2016 / Day 2

Hey Guys,

It's going to be another quick one, I truly am sorry sorry, it just that the day seems to fly by, and before you know it it's nine o'clock.
Anyway, happy BookTube-a-Thon, how are you doing? I once again did not read a single page today, however I did pick The Crown last night and read a few chapters then. I had a really lovely day today, I went to one of my friend's houses, and we attempted to chill in her hot-tub, but we ended up spraying ourselves with hoses. How was your day?
I'll try and read some more of The Crown later:

The challenge for today was to read a book only after sunset, I chose this one, obviously. I did start it yesterday for a bit of a head start, but it was still after sunset.

I'll be driving to Wales on Thursday so I'll try to do some reading in the car, but I don't make any promises.

I can promise to be reviewing all the books I read during BookTube-a-Thon though it may take me a while. I don't really have much else to say.

BookTube-a-Thon 2016 / Day 1

Hey Guys,

I'm sorry this post is going to be really rushed, but I don't have much time and I've had a really long, non-stop day. Happy BookTube-a-Thon! Obviously this year I'm taking part in BookTube-a-Thon. I tried last year but I failed, I accidently read the Harry Potter series instead, but, I am back for round two. However, this year I am going to be doing an update post every day for the whole week. Wish me luck!

So far today I have read a big fat Zero pages, today's challenge was to read a book with yellow on the cover, I chose This is What Happy Looks Like:

I might try and pick up The Crown by Kiera Cass tonight for my after sunset read but I'll see how that goes. I'll try and keep you guys posted, but on Thursday I'm going to Wales.

Last thing, I know I promised to be more active, but I haven't posted much recently. This is because I'm working on a post that I'm not happy with and have been struggling with for a while, I'll see if I can get it up soon though.
